I'm baaack or Christmas is a comin'

Its been awhile. Not entirely intententional, I assure you. I had some connection problems with this site. Frustration is a great demotivator. I think the quirks have been taken out. Then of course there was a general laziness factor...added with the general business factor causing the general laziness factor. Its a viscious circle.
Yesterday we cleaned our carpets. The water was absolutely black. It makes you wonder how this stuff gets into your home. I have already noticed an improvement in my breathing. I don't know if that was from the removal of the dust mites or the moisture added into the air. The cat had fun trying to avoid walking on the wet carpet. She also had an extreme fascination for the part of the Rug Doctor that kept the dirty water in it. I guess it would be called the collection tank. The bird just lied the noise the carpet cleaner makes. He is in awe of anything that is louder than him.
I made chili last week. I haven't made it in years. When the rains started we started making comfort food. I was quite surprised how well it turned out. This week we made Potato soup with Chedder. Excellent stuff for cold rainy days. We have experienced record setting rainfall this month. A lot of flooding near the rivers.
Work has been moving suprisingly well. I have moved us into September. We're only two and a half months behind. I have also found that using the Company's learning system is the most difficult way to learn anything. If I want to figure something out I call the fellow that held the position before me. I get useful information. The problem is he is unavailable on half the days I work. He is amazed I can get anything accomplished at all. I owe him a great debt. The company is promising to send me help...I think by the time I get caught up, someone will show up.
They started playing Christmas music at work last Sunday. At least this year they are mixing it up a bit. I'm not hearing the same Chritmas music in that half hour loop. They mix it in with some pf the regular music so it doesn't get so repetitive. Time to start getting at the shopping and decorating. Usually we have finished by September. ( except for the Chocolate that is) A bit more of a rush than I'd like, but we'll get through it.
