I Know, I Know...its been a while. We bought an Imac and I have been off learning how to use it. Mind you that's not the whole reason. Things have been a little hectic. Fortunately, the letter writing campaigns have slowed a bit. I still have a few, but they are not pressing and I can take my leisure planning them.

The building across the street towers above us. Its still not finished, It was supposed to be done by spring 2008...they're running out of spring. I'll just be glad when they get rid of that freakin' crane.

They are putting in an IGA right across the street. The market's close, but it will be nice to have a decent grocery store in our neighbourhood. Anything to save a little on the price of fuel. I saw $3.99 for regular today. I don't know why China, North America, Russia, Europe don't turn to OPEC and say " If this is your attitude towards gas...this is what you will be paying for food and water." Pass along those gas increases plus profit directly to the OPEC nations. I don't know that it will work.They have made so much money off us, they probably wouldn't notice.

Works going well. We have a softball team that is starting up next month. I tried ... but, I couldn't get pi as a number, I like pie. Oh well, I'll have to settle for 3.14. It should be lots of fun. We have some real characters at work. It will be good to get out and get some exercise. I'm dreading the pain after the first day. I'm slowly starting to exercise to minimize the damage. I hope it works.

Next month my niece gets married. We'll make a trek up to BC. I am looking forward to getting away, even if its just for a couple of days. It will be great to see the family again. We haven't been away in a few years. Its been difficult to find people to take care of the animals. I dread going through the border, such a waste of time... at least that's what I hear.Oh well.
