Finally ...A Leader or Things outside the window.

Barrack is now president elect... finally. It will be such a nice change to have an articulate, intelligent leader in the Whitehouse.
I don't know how Bush has managed to hang on for eight years. George W. is pond scum. Completely devoid of any humanity. Now he will be replaced by Barrack. Not only does he inspire, but he can lead. It was amazing to look out the window on Tuesday night. After it was announced, you could hear whoops and hollering of joy from the street. I would watch the results and glance out the window. Strangers were high fivin' in the street. What a difference from the last two elections I have experienced down here. Both times that Bush stole the elections it was business as usual. This was a celebration. At 9 or so I heard jubilation and looked out the window. There, were hundreds of people running down the wrong way on Pike. Cars would honk, the people running would stop and shake the drivers hand. The driver would honk along in celebration.
The news said 4000 people were dancing in the street's around our building. I don't know about that ... but it sure was fun to see all those people coming up Pike. I just hope that Obama can bring about the changes he wants to establish. He should be able to with the congress and the house having a majority. I can't wait to see whom he selects for the cabinet and how he approaches the economy. It should be an interesting ride.
Not a lot new on the home front. The building across the way has the crane removed. They are still working on it, but that blight on our view has been removed. We are gearing up for Christmas. The wife is well. The pets are well.I'm feeling better than I did.
Not really much else to say for now. So have a good one... have two or three.
