Zenfish'n

So it begins. Christmas rushes into the picture and we busy ourselves with preparations. We set our tree up on Sunday. Always a mood setter. For the first time in years we have not finished our Xmas shopping. I know we will...but even with finishing before labour day...we have had trouble getting the gifts out on time. Wrapping has never been a fave for me.

It looks like the building under construction will be just high enough to block the fireworks come New Year's. Another tradition bites it. We can just see the top of the needle now.

Work gives the staff the week between Xmas and New Years off. I am so glad I managed to get out of retail. We are also having our Xmas party at a bowling alley. Danger, danger...danger

The projects at work are moving slow. Its job security I guess...but it is difficult to work between a couple of different systems. We are trying to move everything online. Until that time we have to deal with the manual technique, converting and the new system. Technology doesn't seem to be keeping pace. We'll get there.
