MR16 LED Lamp

What is LED Binning?
MR16 LED Lamp is a practice carried out to ensure high quality and consistency in regards to the performance of LED light output and colour. Binning is the process of grouping LEDs together to maintain a tighter control of the possible output variations; it can have serious implications on performance, cost and lead time for manufacturers, but is an invaluable process to specifiers and end-use customers 8mm LED Flexi .
The binning of LED’s is controlled by the supplier creating their own standard set of bins this provides clear information on the expected lumen performance of each individual bin range.
In 2008 ANSI and NEMA established a binning standard, ANSI C78 377A¹, specifying the 10mm LED Flexi size which correlates within a degree of colour variation with commercial CFL sources.
