merge, split, evernote
If you merged two Evernote notes and wish to split them back to individual notes, you won't find a straight forward way to do this. Evernote keeps the main/parent note and it's tags and deletes the notes that it merged into the parent note. So to undo merge:
- Edit the new note and remove the merged into note
- Copy back the merged note from the trash folder to it's original folder.

opera, bookmarks, google bookmarks
There really isn't an easy way to integrate
Google Bookmarks with Opera the way the
GMarks extension does with Firefox. I've tried cramming the Google Bookmarks page in an Opera sidebar, it looked horrible and was cumbersome to use. Also the only place to put the bookmarklet is in the personal bar which I don't normally use so that was a waste of space. The whole solution was ugly and I found myself using firefox more and more. However in a moment of zen I figured out how to setup opera to transparently use google bookmarks. Here's how:
To Bookmark:You need a way to quickly bookmark via short cut or a click of an icon, so set the home page to the Google Bookmark bookmarklet (copy & paste). Now you can get the bookmark dialog to bookmark any page by pressing the shortcut "
Ctrl + Space" or you can add the home page icon to the navigation tool bar and click that instead. I never really use the home page feature now that I have Speed Dial.

Bookmark Access:To access the bookmarks. Make the Google book mark page the first page in Speed Dial. Now to access your bookmarks just press the shortcut "
Ctrl +1", the Google bookmarks page will pop up or you can click on + (new tab) to get the Speed Dial and click on the Google Bookmarks page.
Now all your bookmarks are available from any browser, any computer or device and backed up all the time. All you have to do now is to migrate all those browser bookmarks to Google. Good luck with that

.
Any other ideas for better integration/use?
