Hi OCCs,
Actually I schedued Opera Unite Geek-Ups @ SERC, IISc on yesterday(28th October), but due to another seminar by AMD I postponed it by one day. Today I able to conducte it successfully though there is another seminar in CSA department, I able to get reasonable visitor.
Yesterday I go through a rehearsal of my presentation to my friends, and collect some feedback, that help me a lot in today's presentation.
Today I present about Opera browser and all its feature. One interesting thing I like to share that in the presentation system there is no Opera browser and I also don't have privilege to install Opera, so I tried the Opera Unite Geek-Ups HTML slideset to open with latest firefox which is available. But that does not even support the HTML5 presentation mode. And thanks to Opera USB that finally come as a boon to me. I use Opera USB to present the slideset.
I present about the Opera Unite and show a live demo, but as I don't have access to the router so the url room202.abinashbishoyi.operaunite.com is not accessible. But finally I manage to use the local IP of the Opera Unite system to demonstrate how its homepage look like, and how to use the application that I'm running in Opera Unite.
Finally I answer the query raised by the attendees, it was a nice brainstorming session, most are curious about the HTML5, CSS3 and WebM support of Opera and we came with lot of suggestion to improve Opera even more. They were also asking for the proof for Opera to be the fastest browser, and thanks to Futuremark & Google for the tools that I used to compare between different browser's performance.

Futuremark Peacemaker: http://service.futuremark.com/peacekeeper/index.action
In the benchmarking by Futuremark Opera 10.63 came second to Google Chrome 7.0.5xx, but in Google Sputnik the JavaScript performance testing tool Opera stood first.
So after that people were quite convinced as Google's tool said that Opera is faster.
And also I promised them about another seminar that will demonstrate how to hack & tweak to run Opera even more faster, that I'm going to conduct it on November 17-18.
That much I have to pen here, thanking you for reading my blog.
