Namaskar to all OCC,
I always think of write the post but my laziness obstruct me, but finally I keyed.
I'm a System Administrator Trainee at Supercomputer Education and Research Centre(SERC), Indian Institute of Science(IISc), Bangalore.
IISc is the India's numero uno University. It is one of the oldest institute of India who last year celebrate its centenary ceremony. You can know more from here.
And SERC provide all the computational needs to IISc. You can know more from here. Here almost all machines are working on Unix/Linux and very few Windows and Mac PCs. When I joined here not a single machine having Opera browser. And many user facing problem with flash content. One day I tried the flash content on Opera and voila, it is working fine. So I took the responsibility to promote the "O" inside the IISc. As in *nix environment we test Opera with some Linux machine and they all are working fine. After that all the machine around 250 PCs, workstations are installed with Opera 10.10. Very soon we updated all the Windows PCs with 10.50->10.51->10.53. Now just waiting for the stable release of Opera 10.60 for both Windows and Linux. I already tested 10.60 alpha and it is great.
So hope soon all the machine will have Opera 10.60. Photography is restricted otherwise I can upload some of the snaps of our labs, Supercomputers and HPCs running Opera.
