I got my visa!

Here is my visa! I think German General Consulate in Istanbul thought that my arrival 2 days before my internship start might be very dangerous. So I might be going to Bonn on 2nd of December.

News flash!!!Arrived in Bonn

i like the way you're bloggin... you always mention the beer when you write about the cities you've travelled, this appears pretty sympathetic :wink:

(btw i was born in bonn :smile: and still living not far away from it... its a good place to get along... not too big, not too small, good public transportation services and eifel and westerwald right before the doors... this is kinda cool)

Istanbul is a quite chaotic city, especially in winter. I think it's gonna be relaxing to live in a small city like Bonn. You are the first person who commented positively about Bonn, hometowns are the best, aren't they :wink:

Nope, Bonn is not my hometown. I was just born there... but grew up in the surrounding countryside... anyway, it's one of Germany's most enjoyable 'cities'... compared to bigger cities like Cologne, Bonn is rather some kind of 'intellectual'... it's smaller, yes, but on the other hand you'll find a lot of culture and, yea, lifestyle... I just need to mention Karneval in Bonn - you'll see what that means soon enough :wink:

Maybe we'll meet at Rheinkultur Festival in Bonn... always takes place in early summer, it's completely free, open air, lots of attractions and always some nice bands playin there. I've been there the last years everytime except for 2006. But I'm sure I'm gonna check 2007 again :wink:

I'm looking forward to seeing Karneval, I'm even taking some 'accessories' for that :smile: I hope I would be in Bonn in summer, but for now the plan is to stay there till the end of May.

I'm actually quite excited about Christmas and Weihnachtsmarkt, I've never seen it before!
