On Saturday July 8th we've celebrated the Christopher Street Day by watching the parade of gays, lesbians and transgenders. In my opinion it is the biggest event in Cologne but it wasn't as wild as I expected or maybe I couldn't see much because of standing behind many men. Photos I and my brother took are here

It was pity they were protesting by showing themselves as sex objects, especially some women, instead of pointing their wish for equal rights. I remember just one group carrying placards which show grades of EU countries for evaluation of homosexual rights. I think others' expectation from parade was to check out some homosexuals and get to know new people.
