Welcome to USA

To defer writing makes it even harder but these memoirs should not be forgotten, especially considering my short memory it's crucial

"Hi, how're you doing?" said the policeman at passport control counter in JFK Airport. This is not something I expected from the officer, he was supposed to be serious and unkind  I answered his question after a short delay in a puzzle and even asked how he was, then I thought "He is young, this should be the reason".

Next day I realised that this was an expression used in US instead of "Good morning", "Good afternoon", etc. By the end of second week I start feeling annoyed by affectation of this greeting and I probably was being rude by not asking how they were when salesmen greeted me in shops.

Hi, how're you doing today?

Oh my God I can't believe it!This city needs some rain
