acemi is abroad

I have decided to go to Barcelona as a friend of mine was going with her friends, just to enjoy the sunshine and her pleasant company on a long weekend. We were 5 people and just she knew everyone and rest got to know eachother in Barcelona. We were extremely good at being in concert with others and I guess everyone enjoyed the trip as much.

I spent most of my day time on the beach and a little in shops well also at police station in last 2 days. My handbag got stolen as we were sitting in a cafe for breakfast/lunch with belongings like purse, belgian residence card, credit card, camera, house keys, etc. I must say the theft(s) was/were very professional, nobody noticed even someone passed by until I realised my bag was not on the floor anymore (I even had to spend a few minutes to convince my friends that my bag was gone ). Fortunately my passport was not in the bag and I could take the plane to Brussels without any problem thanks to the police report. I probably wouldn't know what to do without money, debit card, phone numbers I might need if I've been alone but I was lucky and could enjoy the rest of my stay. And next time I will be much more careful, especially when I am with friends since they give you a feeling of being safer.
