Belgium, Germany
Since one month I was either busy non-stop or had no internet connection. But at last I could settle down in Brussels this week. I'm sick today (it's the time for my annual flu), so I have to stay at home and can finally write to my blog.

My last days in Bonn were very busy and quite stressful. I've got my Belgian visa 2 days before my German residence permit expired because of late received documents. I had to fly to Berlin just for this visa but it was a big relief to have my passport back with a Schengen visa. I'm glad I could see Berlin in Christmas time and walk around in beautiful Christmas markets there.
One day before going to Berlin I had my farewell party in the office with another colleague leaving and in my last night in Germany I went out partying in Cologne with interns in Bonn. I went to the best club I've ever been in Cologne, I'm glad an intern took us there.
On next day we could manage not to miss the train to Brussels with a colleague of mine who was driving me to Cologne and my nomad life for 3 weeks has started. First 2 weeks I rented a room in an AIESECers apartment and I had a lot of fun as sharing the flat with him. In the mean time my buddy from AIESEC found me a room in city centre and I decided to take it but I had to wait until I can move in. On third week I stayed in a friend's place who I know through some other friends and on last Friday I could move to my flat. My plan B was to stay in Antwerp in my friend's house and I'm very glad that I didn't have to apply this plan, because of 3 hours ride to and from work everyday.
Now I'm living in perfect location for going out but it takes long time to go to work and it's rather loud at night. I'm nevermore happy here and experiencing sharing a flat for the first time.
Since I'm settled down you can stay tuned for my new adventures

Germany
This is the view you see when you stand 50 mt. further than my new home in a sunny Saturday afternoon

I moved to a new dorm on Rhine but I'm going to live there just for 6 weeks. Moving was a terrible task because I had basically too many stuff and carried everything with public transportation

I'm happy I could settle down. However I still have some stuff to carry from office.
I still don't have internet connection yet. I was in 6 different countries and 7 cities in a 20 days period. I have loads to write here about my last trips, hopefully they'll come soon. Until then you can enjoy
my photos if you'd like.

From this year on
Loveparade is taking place in different cities in Germany every year and its first location was Essen on August 25th. I wrote it in my calender months ago but I wasn't likely to go until I saw an invitation e-mail from a trainee on Friday. Not having a plan for the weekend gave me the occasion to see another german lets-get-drunk-and-be-crazy open air festival. Transportation was a problem again, jam full trains with people who start to drink at 10 am...
I'm not a fan of techno music, that's why it was a bit boring after a while and we left early. It would have been nice to see Kosheen live, if we could reach to the stage.
Here are some funny shots.

On Saturday July 8th we've celebrated the
Christopher Street Day by watching the parade of gays, lesbians and transgenders. In my opinion it is the biggest event in Cologne but it wasn't as wild as I expected or maybe I couldn't see much because of standing behind many men. Photos I and my brother took are
hereIt was pity they were protesting by showing themselves as sex objects, especially some women, instead of pointing their wish for equal rights. I remember just one group carrying placards which show grades of EU countries for evaluation of homosexual rights. I think others' expectation from parade was to check out some homosexuals and get to know new people.

Life in abroad, Germany
Last Sunday my brother came to Bonn for one week and I'm in holiday since Friday evening. During this period I was busy with visiting cities, going to concerts and sleeping less.
On 07.07.2007 the open air festival Rheinkultur took place in Bonn. It was in Rheinaue, a very big park on Rhine, and the audience was very enthusiastic. I've heard it before I came to Bonn and was willing to go there. I didn't hear any of the bands' names performing there but still interested in listening to highlighted ones. Unfortunately my friends didn't want to stay until the end and listen to german music and because of considering the fullness of public transportation we left about 9.30 pm. Still it was nice to chat with friends and be lazy.

Germany
It's summer holiday for schools in North Rhine Westphalia state in Germany from June 21st to August 3rd. Regional train transportation company has
a promotional ticket for students which is valid in whole state. I bought it and started to travel.
My first destination was
Münster, a city full with bikes. I've heard citizens were quite religious and seeing many churches in a small area supported this information. Churches I visited are not gloomy at all, probably because of reconstruction after World War II.
I spend 6 hours in Münster and saw a lot of tourists. It seems like Münster is a famous city in Germany.
Here are my photos.

It's 15˚C in Bonn now and it was rainy whole week. At the weekend it's expected to be rainy and colder
In April we had a brilliant weather. Weather in Bonn surprises me in every season.

Once-in-a-month flea market in
Rheinaue on a first rainy and then sunny Saturday. I couldn't find an
espresso pot yet. I regret that I didn't buy the one I found in a flea market three years ago.

Another open air event in Bonn is over. We had BBQ in AIESEC office's garden, watched fireworks on Rhine, taught turkish words -well mostly nasty ones- to other trainees and laughed a lot! We don't know what we've celebrated with fireworks but people were quite excited about it. A fine excuse to get-together and party!

Life in abroad, Germany
This Easter supposed to be a reunion of our gang in Linz, Austria. Just 2 members of the group and an austrian friend of us could come to Bonn. It was strange to meet them after 3 years and I'm very glad that they could make it. We all are graduated and working in companies but non of us seem like changed much, a bit more tired maybe
We were mostly in Bonn and on Sunday we went to
Königswinter, a small city very close to Bonn, and climbed up to Drachenfels. As we were walking on Rhine I felt myself like in Istanbul on Bosphorus or somewhere in a mediterranean country. It was my best weekend in Bonn until now, I thank you all my friends!
