AcheronIRC is going to be the new version of VenomIRC. Cut and dry, it's a set of scripts that makes mIRC much easier to use. Another great thing is that if you like/prefer a custom script over the built in one, you can remove the script and insert your own (eg: alarm clock, away system, etc).

Some core features include:

• A simple theme (no MTS, KTE, etc)
  
• Fully modified popups (the right click menus)
  
• Pre-configured mIRC settings (if you don't want to configure, don't! It will still work)
