CMS评比决出五强

历时六个星期，经过对一万两千多提名投票的甄别和筛选，PacktPub于9月4日公布了“开源内容管理系统奖”(the Open Source CMS Award)第一轮评选结果，共有五个CMS建站程式脱颖而出，它们是(按字母顺序排列)：




* Drupal
* e107
* Joomla
* Plone
* Xoops


从9月14号起，五强开始进入总决赛，全球范围内的网上投票评选截止日期至11月7号，11月14日公布最终赢得奖金的前三名。网上公投地址www.PacktPub.com

果不出所料，Joomla榜上有名。这次评出的优秀CMS程式中，Drupal和Xoops是Joomla最强劲的竞争者，都适合搭建大型企业门户站和博客类网站。e107是CMS家族中的后起之秀，安装十分简便，界面简洁，后厨琳琅满目。Plone也是新面孔，适用于搭建非赢利组织，商业，教育和政府网站。(Wordpress落选是在意料之中的，因为它本身知名度很高，增长最快，让其它博客程式望尘莫及，因此这回就不凑热闹了)我们预测最后评比的结果，CMS的桂冠将由Joomla摘取。即将推出的1.5版本将发挥推波助澜的作用。为Joomla投上一票，然后拭目以待!

WordPress 2.0.4, the latest stable release in our Duke series, is available for immediate download.

This release contains several important security fixes, so it’s highly recommended for all users. We’ve also rolled in a number of bug fixes (over 50!), so it’s a pretty solid release across the board.
