Ketika menjalani sebagai manusia jasmani dan hidup di tengah "dunia nyata" sama seperti manusia yang lain, Dia memperkenalkan dan menunjukkan apa yang ada di "dunia harapan" yang disediakan oleh Allah bagi manusia yang mau bersahabat, berelasi, berteman, berkomunikasi denganNya dalam "doa" dan "perbuatan".
"Dunia harapan" yang dijanjikan oleh Yesus tidak berada di balik liang kubur, tetapi sudah dapat dialami dan dirasakan mulai dari kehidupan di "dunia nyata" dalam komunitas yang dijiwai dengan "kasih" di setiap perbuatan. Ketika kita merasa sudah tidak mampu berbuat, tak berdaya lagi, di saat itulah pentingnya "komunikasi batin" dengan Allah, hanya Dia yang sanggup menyelesaikan segala persoalan kita tepat dapa waktunnya. Allah sangat merindukan manusia mau berpihak kepadaNya sebab yang akan diberikan oleh Allah jauh lebih besar daripada yang diberikan oleh dunia manapun, dan Dia menyediakan Diri menjadi tumpuan harapan bagi segenap umatNya.

Sejak semula ketika manusia diciptakan, Allah sudah tahu roblem terbesar yang akan dialami oleh manusia dalam peziarahan di dunia, yaitu berjalan di dalam kebenaran. Itulah alasan yang terkandung dibalil nasihatNya : "tetapi pohon pengetahuan tentang yang baik dan yang jahat itu, janganlah kaumakan buahnya, sebab pada hari engkau memakannya, pastilah engkau mati" (Kej 2:17). Kalimat terakhir yang berbunyi "pastilah engkau mati" menunjukkan betapa keras nasiat Allah tsb, alasanNya karena Allah tidak mau kehilangan buah hatiNya, SabdaNya itu untuk menjaga agar manusia tidak binasa. Tidak berbeda dengan semua orangtua yang menahati anak-anaknya "jangan begini jangan begitu, nanti begini nanti begitu" demi kebaikan, dan nasihat mereka itu kareka rasa sayang terhadap anak-anaknya.
"Pohon pengetahuan tentang yang baik dan yang jahat" (buah kuldi : knowledge ) tumbuh dan bekembangnya tidak di Taman Eden, bukan pula di tepi sungai Efrat, tetapi dalam "taman hidup" manusia di "bumi pikiran" yang lokasinya di dasar otak. "Bumi pikiran" manusia yang wujudnya hanya segumpal lemak putih di dalam rongga tulang kepala, namun realitas luasnya tak terbatas, segala "pohon" (perkara) dapat tumbuh, berkembang dan berbuah di dalamnya.
"Tentang yang baik dan yang jahat" menyatakan bahwa manusia tidak memiliki "kebenaran", dalam realitas konkrit perjalanan hidup manusia dikuasai dan diatur oleh pikiran yang sejatinya tugas pikiran adalah mengendalikan jutaan sel saraf yang ada di tubuh manusia untuk mengatur pergerakan anggota-anggota badan. Namun dalam prakteknya terjadi over acting menguasai dan mengatur kehidupan. Coba tengok, siapa yang mengatur aktifitas Anda mulai bangun tidur sampai hendak tidur lagi ? Semua perilaku kita diatur dan dipimpin oleh "pikiran yang buta" tidak tahu mana yang baik dan mana yang jahat, sebab yang baik belum tenu benar dan yang jahat belum tentu salah. Yang disebut "dunia kegelapan" tempatnya bukan di luar sana, namun di dalam diri kita, dimana kita mengalami kesulitan menentukan mana kawan atau lawan, mana Tuhan mana Tuan ? Itulah alasan mengapa "pikiran" disebut sebagai "bapa pendusta" yang menyeret manusia semakin jauh dari "kebenaran" yang tiada lain kecuali Allah Yang Maha Benar dengan segala FirmanNya.
Kapanpun dan dimanapun senantiasa terjadi "pemerkosaan" di dalam diri manusia, "kehendak hati" diperkosa oleh "kemauan pikiran" dan tragedi yang menghancurkan dunia karena "kemurnian hati" untuk berpihak pada kehendak Allah (rohani) senantiasa diperkosa oleh "keserakahan pikiran" yang berpihak pada dunia (jasmani). Banyak rang tak pernah menyadari penderitaan jiwanyanya akibat "pemerkosaan" yang dilakukan oleh "keperkasaan pikiran" terus menerus tersebut !?! Itulah antara lain makna nasihat Allah : ".... engkau akan mati" (Kej 2:17), dan masih banyak lagi yang lain. Yang lebih tidak disadari adalah bahwa kondisi "jiwa yang terluka" itu mendasari perangai dan perbuatan terhadap orang lain, maka nasihat (lagu) AA Gim : "jagalah hati jangan kau nodai .... "

Berbicara masalah komunikasi kiranya tidak ada media yang mampu memuatnya karena tak terhitung banyaknya jenis komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh semua makhluk hìdup ciptaan Allah, istimewanya manusia ciptaan kesayanganNya. Manusia walaupun dibentuk dari tanah liat, namun oleh Allah diberi (sebagai pinjaman) nafas hidup yang berakal budi, yaitu "roh" (nyawa) yang sewaktu-waktu akan diambil oleh pemilikNya.
Manusia dikehendaki dicipta oleh Allah dijadikan gambar dan citraNya (Kej 1:26-27). Dalam hak komunikasi hanya manusia yang diperkenankan menjalin relasi dengan Yang Maha Pencipta, mukai dari dunia nyata (alam fana) yang sifatnya sementara sampai ke kehidupan kekal (alam baka).
Beragam jenis komunikasi (horisontal) dalam kehidupan di dunia nyata perkembangannya sudah menembus langit biru, yaitu yang disebut dengan istilah "dunia maya" (internet) yang menawarkan beragam pesona : SMS, MMS, video call, chatting, massaging, blogging dsb.
Semuanya itu adalah kasih karunia Allah, tetapi bagaimana komunikasi manusia dengan Dia Yang Maha Kasih, yaitu "komunikasi vertikal" yang disebut dengan istilah "doa" ?!?
