In addition, the robes help to add reverence and solemnity during a service. There is no doubt that having a pastor wear a robe helps visitors to become serious and to pay attention to a celebration.

Wearing of pastor robes has become a 2010 long tradition and so far, it has continued with. Even though there are those that object to the practice now, it is still possessing fast and hopefully will continue to do so for years.

There are many different types of liturgical vestments that many church denominations wear, and pastor robes are just one of them.

One example of this can be the alb. This is a vestment most commonly used by Catholics, Anglicans together with Protestants. Most of the time, the alb is a white garment that goes up to the ankles and usually held by the girdle. 1st Timothy 3: 3 Not inclined to wine, no striker, not necessarily greedy of filthy lucre; nevertheless patient, not a brawler, not covetous;

- Not given to wine, means a person who avoids strong ingest. Proverbs 20: 1 Wine can be a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

- No striker means someone who wouldn't be very likely to hit another out with anger. Titus 3: two To speak evil of no man, to get no brawlers, but mild, shewing all meekness unto all men.

- Not greedy of filthy lucre may be one who isn't out to make an easy or easily buck. Not given to deceptions and/or ploys to cheat someone. 1st Timothy 6: 10 For the love of money may be the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced independently through with many sorrows. 6: 11 Nevertheless thou, O man with God, flee these items; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

- But patient means that he is willing to have to wait for the right time in any respect occasions. Psalms 37: 7 Rest in the Lord, and wait with consideration for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth with his way, because with the man who bringeth steller devices to pass.

- Not a brawler would mean people who isn't fist fighting constantly. Titus 3: 2

- Not covetous is a man who isn't overly desirous of problems that belong to others. Exodus 20: 17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's property, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's girl, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

3. 2nd Timothy 3: 4 One that ruleth well his own personal house, having his children in subjection with just about all gravity; 3: 5 (For when a man know not how to rule his own property, how shall he take care of the church of Our god?)

: Ruleth well and having his children in subjection would mean that he is this unquestioned head of his own household. Proverbs 22: 6 Train up a child in the manner he should go: and when he is old, definitely not depart from the idea.

4. 2nd Timothy 3: 6 Not really a novice, lest being lifted in place with pride he fit in the condemnation of the devil.
