They took over Rs.50,000/- from me to transport my household goods & Car from Navi Mumbai to Jamshedpur. Talked very sweetly and cunningly. Accepted all my conditions of transportation viz., transportation in stand alone sealed container to be sealed by me and to be opened by me; no third party’s good transportation; door to door delivery ( no unloading or loading in transit or change of truck) etc. On first day of packing (one week prior to departure) they packed well but did the packing of about 50% goods. Then they appeared on the date of loading (with truck of Om Sai packers and Movers who has office at Mumbai, Powai, vashi and Thane) and packed the rest of goods miserably under several excuses. I sealed the truck. Took copy of truck’s RC and driver’s license. Information is that they took the truck to bhiwandi, broke the seal, removed 15 packed cartons carrying imp items like camera, bags, woolen clothes, law books, toys, costly crockries etc and gave rest of the goods to a broker who kept it at bhiwandi for 12 days. Under pressure from Mumbai Police they sent my goods. My goods were unloaded and loaded several times during transit, changing trucks and it finally reached me after 18 days. Many costly items were damaged, looted as if some dacoity has been committed in my house.

Similarly they took my Ford Ikon Car. I got it loaded in a car carrier of Balaji cargo Carrier @ Sri balaji Cargo Carrier at Taloja, Navi Mumbai. After I left upon the loading and departure of truck, they and Balaji (owners:- Murari Sharma and Rajat Sharma) unloaded my car and used as taxi for long time. Under police pressure of Police Mumbai, Gujarat and Jamshedpur, they send my car via road and badly damaged it in process. I got the car after 28 days and it was recovered with help of Police after they left it on NH 33 near Jamshedpur.

I was able to apply so much pressure due to my contacts and well wishers. It is not possible for every person to do so. I am presently working for Tata Steel. At Mumbai I was with RIL group.

I am writing this in public interest. It is a gang of robbers and dacoit. So please take care. Do not hire the services of Siddhi Vinayak packers & Movers, Om Sai Packers Movers and Balaji Cargo carriers. 2008-2009 has been bad year for the TATA Group.
During the beginning of the 19th Century, under the British rule, Jamshedji Tata established Steel Industry in present day mineral rich Jharkhand state, lying in the eartern part of India. Area where the industry came up is now known as Jamshedpur. During those days its was part of Bengal province. Tata were forced out of the state of West Bengal due to agitation by the farmers/landowners of Singrur, whose lands were compulsorily acquired by the State Government under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. The agitation was led by Trinamul Congress (State level party) leader, Ms.Mamta Banerjee, present Union/Federal Railway Minister in the UPA Government of India. Calcutta High Court gave judgment in favour of the land acquisition. CPM Government of Bengal was in favour of the Nano car plant in Singrur. However, politics of the day was different. Brinkmanship of the political agitation and failure of the Communist Government of West Bengal to do enough, forced the Tatas to take the unfortunate decision of leaving West Bengal. Tatas are known for their honesty, integrity and business ethics. They left to Gujarat (State in western India)notwitstanding the losses. Mamta Banerjee was criticised by the intelligentia of the country. However in the recent election for parliament, she came out with flying colours and made a heavy inroad into the CPM stronhold.

Nano bookings didnot receive the expected response, may be due to recession, but is now ready to be delivered to the Indian consumers, probably few days

He is Amarnath, our dear friend. A part of life that we lived in our childhood. A great human being. A great painter. Was engineer by profession. He died in Aug, 1997 in Montreal, Canada where he was pursuing his higher studies in engineering.

His school lunch box was stuffed with best of foods! We all used to pounce at the lunch box at the first go without making any attempt to hold it. Boy holding the tiffin rarely got the taste of the mouth licking cuisine therein.

He had a tremedous memory. Forget the content of subject, he remembered the page numbers of the books. Especially in times of examination, he sent shiver down our spines as to our preparedness.

Its a common saying that even God needs good people, therefore, the good ones are first to depart.
