I never knew how much planning went into having a baby shower until I decided to have one for my sister Janet. Her due date is in a few months so I decided I should get on the ball with having her one. First I had to get all the invitations in order. We have a huge family and a lot of mutual friends so that was no small task. I ended up inviting about 200 people total. Well before that I had to figure out where to have it. I ended up going with a local golf course’s banquet room. I know the owner and he gave me a break on his usual price. I still need to figure out how I’m going to get her there to surprise her and I still need to decorate the place. I am going tomorrow to look at diaper cakes, which I just heard about, to use as a centerpiece for each table. I just wish I had another sister to help me out with doing all this!
