Before I forget...

KDE week, oh amarok... I hate you

, ,

Wtf is wrong with amarok2? EVERY player on my system can read my music tags just perfectly, but Amarok 2 is just too stupid for doing anything right.

simple example:

quod libet, everything fine!

even Juk, the tags are correct

but Amarok 2... oh dear...

Most of the songs don't even have an artist tag for amarok. Beside that amarok even fucks up the cover images which are available in every folder in my music collection, it doesn't even have to look them up. But amarok is just randomly attaching covers from different folders to different Albums, AWESOME.

KDE week, issue 1

was about to start digikam

The Power of open!

yeah of course!

and while writing this post, KDE just crashed and restarted the X server, something with 'kserver'

first day and I am already pissed off, this is going to be fun!

KDE week

I was bored so I decided to try a 'new' desktop environment, this time KDE.

I will use it for one week, after that I will use XFCE for one week and after that I will decide which one I will mainly use (I bet it will be gnome!)

Oh and amarok 2 is pure crap, nothing works, can't read any Tags from my music files! great, EVERY other player can.

and where is the setting in KDE to turn off ALL notification sounds?

first thing I really don't like, are the missing thumbnails for Video files. Nautilus (gnome) does that just fine, but dolphin (KDE) fails

Nautilus:

Dolphin:

Flipnote Studio
