"Wow!" Ian laughed heartily as he tried to chew down his food, "in Café Luxe?"
"It's not funny at all, Ian," Luke crammed food into his mouth angrily, "if I knew she would just let me work in school, I would've moved into a cheaper school or something."
"Isn't this a good experience?" Sam grinned, "although, Kirsten and I were really expecting someone more good-looking worker. But we never expected YOU to be that employee."
Luke and Ian were sitting across each other while Sam sat in between facing them as they had their usual dinner. After hearing that Luke would be working in Café Luxe, Sam and Ian couldn't help but laugh at him. Well, of course, Ian had his precaution since Luke is his master.
"Come on, Ian. Talk my way out of this for me,will you?" Luke pleaded.
Ian smiled, "why,Master. This would be a great experience for you. Besides, I'm sure Ms Dean and Mrs Saxton is doing this for your own good," he paused to drink his water, "by the way, your work will be starting on Tuesday?"
"Yeah. Since our class trip will start tomorrow and we'll be home by Sunday. That'll be three days. Plus, Monday will be a resting day for the students," Luke put down his spoon and fork, "I just hope they won't be calling me for help on Monday morning.
Sam perked up, "you mean, there won't be classes on Monday?"
"Mrs Saxton announced that a while ago. Weren't you listening?" Luke sneered.
"Kirsten and I were discussing some things," she grinned.
Ian coughed to catch their attention, "anyway," he said, "please be careful on your three-day-trip." He smiled and turned to Sam, "Mistress, should I pack up some lunch for your trip?"
Sam blushed, "a-ah..yes,please. Thank you very much."
Ian smiled as if saying 'my pleasure'. Luke just stared at them, "it's getting a bit hot in here...," he mumbled, shifting his eyes from Ian to Sam.
Sam blushed, her cheeks turning brighter red, "y-yeah! It's really warm here, huh?" she fanned herself.
Ian stared at her, "is that...so?"
Sam nodded,a bit embarrassed.

It was a bright dawn for a Friday morning. The time had passed half-way from 5. But in the Guardians' Dorm, where the rivals lived together, it was the worst morning....
"Ah! I think I forgot my flashlight!" Sam said, throwing her BIG and BULKY bag on a chair in the dinning room. As she was running up the large staircase, she bumped herself into someone who's carrying a sports bag.
"Ouch," she rubbed her head, "s-sorry...," she mumbled. She opened her eyes and was surprised to see Luke....who was pinned down by her. Her lower body, unfortunately, was on him. "Luke!" she exclaimed, blushing.
"Do you mind?" he raise a brow, "you're a bit heavy."
"Ah, sorry," she stood up quickly and ran up the stairs and into her room.
Luke blushed, rubbing the back of his head as he went down and entered the dinning room.
"Good morning, Master," Ian smiled, placing two metallic-lunch box on the table.
Luke pulled out a chair and slumped back on his seat, placing his bag on the floor, "'morning..," he mumbled.
"You seem very excited," Ian smiled, seeing his master's lips secretly curving up as he sighed.
"Am not," Luke blushed. He couldn't help but smile. But then, he mentally kicked himself, "come one,Luke! You have more things to think about rather than thinking of that stupid girl!"
"Good morning, guys!" Sam came bursting into the door.
Ian smiled, "good morning, Mistress," he pulled out a chair for her to sit.
"Thanks," Sam smiled.
Ian placed two plates of omelet on the table, "dig in," he smiled as he placed another plate, but with bread, this time.
Luke took an omelet and put it in between the bread. He stood up, "I'm going," he announced.
"Eh?" Sam was about to take a bit of her omelet sandwich.
"Our assembly is 6 am and it's already 5:45 am. If you want to make it, I suggest you should go too." Luke took his sports bag and swung it to his back, leaving the dinning room.
"I might as well go too," Sam smiled.
"Take care!" Ian smiled back.
Sam waved, "we will."
--
Sam put on her roller blades quickly and skate after Luke who left the house already. She carried her heavy bag, "w-wait up!"
She did manage to go after him as he was already half-way in the school forest. Luke walked briskly as she skate cheerfully, carrying her stuff.
"I bet it's going to be a great trip!" she smiled, "what about you, Luke?"
Luke stopped and faced her, "I think....," he grabbed her bag and carried in on his broad shoulder, "....that your bag weighs almost a thousand ton, or something." He continued to walk briskly.
"Hey!" Sam skate after him. She finally caught up, "it's not that heavy," she blushed.
"Who's carrying it?" he asked, blushing a little.
"You are."
"Then I would know how heavy it is, right?" Luke glanced at her.
"I didn't ask for help," she stuck out her tongue.
There was an awkward silence.
Sam looked at him, "so why'd you carry it for me?"
Luke blushed, thanking that the basement was dark as they entered, "w-well,it's proper for a guy to help out girls...."
"Awww," Sam teased.
Luke pushed the 'up' button on the elevator, ".....even though the girl is very irritating," he added.
"Hey!" Sam stomped her feet. Luke chuckled.

"Hey, you two! You're late!" Kirsten waved.
The Excellent Class were already in the bus.
"Sorry," Sam smiled.
"You two live in Guardians' Dorm, right?" Mrs Saxton asked, making sure that their other classmates, aside from Kirsten, are inside the bus.
They both nodded.
"No wonder," Mrs Saxton smiled, "Ms Dean designed that dorm to be really far from the other dorms."
Luke, Sam and Kirsten climbed up the bus. Kirsten and Sam sat together while Luke and Jean sat behind the girls.
"Let me ask you something," Jean smiled, swinging his arms around his 'best friend', "why did you and Samantha same out from the school? Aren't you two living in your own houses or dorms or something...?"
Luke pushed Jean's arms off him, "we had some business with the principal," he lied.
"oh," Jean smiled, "I thought you two were living in the school together. But I thought that was impossible because it's not as if there's a secret house in school where you and Samantha would be living," he laughed.
Kirsten, Sam and Luke stared at each other, their faces said, "he practically got the idea where we live..."
Sam suddenly looked at Jean, "what're you talking about, that's impossible."
"I know," Jean smiled, looking out the window, "oh, we're moving."
Sam and Luke sighed, "we better be more careful with the idea we live together," Sam whispered.
Luke nodded, "right."
--
IN THE AIRPLANE..
"Okay, class. Settle down," Mrs Saxton commanded.
"Wow, we're actually on Luxe Airlines," Kirsten smiled.
"I never knew the school had its own airline." Jean commented.
The four of them sat beside each other. Kirsten sat by the window; Sam sat beside her; Luke sat beside Sam while Jean sat beside Luke.
Luke leaned back and sighed, "finally, some rest." he mumbled.
"Wow, so this is what's like to ride on a plane," Sam smiled.
"First time?" Jean asked.
"Yep," Sam grinned, "mom and I never had the chance to ride on the 'test-drive' of this Luxe Airlines."
Jean sat up, "wow, you and your mom was invited for this plane's test drive."
"My mom's the Dean...," Sam paused, "I-I mean, my mom is a friend of the Dean."
"Oh." Jean leaned back.
Kirsten and Luke chuckled, "close one," Luke mumbled, "we really need to be careful of what we say."
Sam nodded, "right. Sorry."
"Don't worry," Kirsten grinned, "I'll make sure Jean will never have to know about your secret."
Sam looked at her best friend, "how will you do that?" Luke sat up and looked at Kirsten as well.
Kirsten's evil smile appeared, "with a little of this and that. Some of these and that...," she smiled, "and some magic."
"It's not funny at all, Ian," Luke crammed food into his mouth angrily, "if I knew she would just let me work in school, I would've moved into a cheaper school or something."
