Tag : Five Jobs I'd Never Do

I've been tagged by flamingo rinse.

The rules are:

Link to the person that tagged you.

Post the rules on your blog.

Share the Five Jobs You Would Never Do......

Tag five random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs.

Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.

Ok, here we go:

1) Nurse and jobs similar to that. I don't handle people that are sick very well. :left: And I would probably be sleepless at nights thinking about patients.

2) Jobs where I would be in a lot of meetings. I hate meetings.

3) A cleaning lady. Cleaning is also something i truly hate.

4) A truckdriver. Driving is boring, and I usually end up thinking about other things while I drive.

5) A telephone salesman (or would that be saleswoman?). I'm not very fond of these people in the first place, and spending the day calling (or harassing) people, sounds like a nightmare. :ko:

My victims are:
Ryan
rose-marie
Ratatoskr
Bluesman
Rapunzel

Tagged - 5 things I'd like to see in Opera

, ,

I've been tagged again, this time by rose-marie and fammcdon.
Here is my list (opera for mac):
1. Stability. Opera crashes from time to time, but that has improved a lot with the latest builds.
2. If you accidentally close all your tabs, they are gone and you can't re-open them from the trashcan. That is very annoying.
3. Shockwave doesn't work. (But shockwave doesn't work with intel-macs yet either, though, might work in Rosetta-mode)
4. Not sure if this is Operas fault or the web-page, but I sometimes encounter pages that I can't use in Opera. Safari works fine. Notice this javascript (?) issue on this page for instance: Fiskeavgift. Try to select "land" from the dropdown menu in the end of that page.
5. Easier ways of importing/exporting contacts, bookmarks. It's too bad that opera can't import from the adress book on the computer.

Ok, I tag these people: Ratatoskr, Lachralle, Neeraj Deshmukh, Flat Tire and Bluesman2333.

I have been tagged!

I've been tagged by two other members (DuckyChickenLady and philry4n), so I guess I better follow up on this. :D
Rules: Give 5 unknown facts about yourself (in a blog post), and tag five other members, with a short explanation in the post on why you chose to tag them.

Five facts about me (not so sure they are unknown, though):
1. I wouldn't function without :coffee:
2. I love to cuddle
3. I'm a lousy driver, driving too fast and sending SMS at the same time :left:
4. I hate shopping
5. I'm a good cook

There. Ok, my five victims are:
Squirrel: The mad scientist
rose-marie: Swedish girl in Norway with great humour
Rapunzel: Sweetie
Ryan: Great guy
fammcdon: Just as dirty-minded as me :D

I'm alive

Just letting the world know that I'm alive. :D

Walking the dog

I took my parents' dog for a short walk today. I took some cellphone pictures of the trip. If you look closely on the first picture, you'll see a black dot there. That's the dog. Not much company, birds are much more interesting than me. :D A bit blurry the second one, but she's still concentrated about birds. In the third picture, there is no dog, it was just a nice autumn picture, I thought.

Autumn vacation

I have autumn vacation this week, and I'm at home visiting my folks at the moment. Nice to be spoiled a little. :D Not much planned for the week, but I'll try to visit some friends that I seldom see and also try to get out and enjoy the nature. (That depends a bit on the weather, though)

Alle vet jo det

Been tidying a bit (well, I ended up sorting my CDs, but that is tidying too, right? ), when I came over a Norwegian CD called "Hadde månen en søster - Cohen på norsk", a tribute CD to Leonard Cohen, sung in Norwegian by females only. Some of the songs are brilliant. Especially Kari Bremnes' interpretation of "Everybody knows".
Here it is: Kari Bremnes - Alle vet jo det

Finally weekend

Finally weekend again!
Work is awfully busy at the moment, hopefully it will calm down a bit soon. (Although I doubt it) :worried:
Well, I'll forget about work for the weekend, and do the best to relax and have some fun. I'm going out onto an island for a party tomorrow together with some friends, that will be great i think. Pictures will follow (if I manage to bring the camera)

Come Back To Me

Come back to me
Come back to me and all the things you knew
Come back to me
Theres a million things we never got to do

I like to think of me and you as a
little more than what we left behind
It's funny how and things go wrong,
my love for you grew stronger everytime.

But it's so easy letting go
Now that everybody knows
There are times when you're
not able make that choice

Come back me

Cause baby I wont make it on my own
The words we chose
And the efforts it made to put each other down
Your voice it keeps persuing me
And I should haav acted differetly, I know
But everytime you get to close,
I tend to run away from you my love

And I miss be a part of your side
Sure miss beein kept in mind
How I miss be a part of your side
Sure miss beein kept in mind

Come back me

But it's so easy letting go
Now that everybody knows
There are times when you're
not able make that choice

Minor Majority - Come Back to Me

My sister has joined

Muwhahahahaa! (Or something like that evil laughter)
My sister has joined the opera community today. Yay for her (yes, she does use Opera, she is a clever girl after all). :hat:

Back to work

Tomorrow (oh wait, today actually. It's past midnight already :left: ) I'm back to work again after a long summer vacation. This time I have even trained on this getting-up-early-thing for a couple of days. And even better: I went to work today, even though I didn't have to. :worried: It was nice actually, got some stuff done together with the two other teachers in the same class, and I managed to fix the stupid wireless network that has been troublesome for a very long time. Only problem is that I didn't find my school keys when I was about to go home. :right: I searched everywhere, but no luck. I hope and pray that someone will find them tomorrow.

Creepy spider

I don't like spiders very much. I used to be very afraid of them, but I have "trained" myself into tolerating them (from a safe distance). This fellow actually seemed quite interesting (still from a safe distance, mind you) I even watched as it caught a fly and attacked it. (Brave me :o: ) Does anyone know what it is called, btw?

Bat attack!

Around midnight this evening I was about to go to bed, but had to feed the dogs first. So there I was at my parents kitchen mixing together some dog food, when all of a sudden I hear a "bump" against the light. "Huh, that was a big fly" I thought to myself and kept making food. Then I hear "bump, bump" again and I see that one of the dogs suddenly is very upset over something. Then I see in the corner of my eye a BIG shadow and I hear that bumping sound again. I turn around and there i see a huge bat coming towards me. :eyes: I must admit that since it was around midnight and I have seen too many vampire movies, a girlish scream came out. :o: Well, since I had no idea how to get rid of the monster, I had to wake up my old dad and ask him to help me out. (That is: He did the job, I stood in a safe distance and watched)

Hot!

Am I evil for wanting bad weather now? :left: It's so hot all the time. This isn't normal for Norwegian weather at all. (Or should I say weather in the Trøndelag region)
I want rain and clouds, at least for a day or two. :right:

Heartbroken

School trip to Copenhagen

I'm going on a school trip together with my pupils tonight, and I won't be back until Wednesday evening/night. School trips like this are normally a lot of work, but also lots of fun. I'll report back after the trip to let you know how it was.

Work, work, work

Exams, correcting, courses, teaching, computer fixing. :ko: Luckily it's summer holiday soon.

Update

Someone mentioned that I should post about why I have been so busy the last weeks. Well, life is great at the moment, and I'm still very busy with my lovelife.

Better now, Squirrel? :D

I hate being sick

Argh! Having a cold again! :irked: I hate being sick.

Happy birthday to me!

:hat: Yep, birthday today.
