wii, palm, Opera
I've just read a post on a blog that I read daily at
Mobility Today and to be honest I thought Palm was dying out no new OS for over 2 years. Come to hear they are working an a linux "Homegrown" OS powered by Opera as the Web Browser is a bonus and a OS to look forward to.
Also I have been away and missed the launch of the new Opera Browser for the Wii. Best be sure to get that this week before I forget!!
Have a great Day!

Mobile, technology, JAVA, J2ME
...
I have taken a couple of days of for myself and my new Nintendo Wii. In this time I have been thinking about my own personal progress and came to fork, should I focus on one specific Language, or be well rounded with a focus on the end products. I consider myself a student of Mobile Technology, Hence 1 big reason why I love Opera SO MUCH! Tons of fun with their SDK. But with that said the languages involved in most of these technologies are evolving in a rate that I cannot cover the complete language as I would like to. I do have issues for developing for Microsoft Products at time, nothing against Microsoft they made Visual Basic I mean I couldn't get into desktop programming with out it.
For the record I use C++ for Palm OS, Visual Basic & Visual C# for Pocket PC, and JAVA J2ME for Blackberry, Mobile Phones. I don't have much under my belt and on my personal website
albertrosa.com, I do plan to add plenty of more but again my job interferes with my personal growth.
At the same time I have a huge list of widgets, Mobile and web applications I want to create and in the middle of developement. I love my work to a limit of course, but I don't believe it's helping me grow. So With that on the side, I still like developing on all of these platforms, Blackberry, Palm, Pocket PC, and web Tech(back-end).
I am in the mix of what to do but I will keep on trucking till all mobile devices are consistenly connected to the web! PUSH APPS are on my list!
Let me know what you think, Should I focus on a language or focus on Mobile Technology as a whole?
I would love to know!
Thanks

web, widget, palm, pocket PC
Good day all,
I have been hard at work for some articles I am planning to write and wanted to take some time to tell you all just a little background about Albert Rosa.
I am not much of a designer I try my hardest to apply proper User Interface and color schemes. I lack many photoshop skills and try to fake it. Many of you might notice that my widget designs aren't to par but hey I am trying.
Personally I find myself to be more of a developer, a designer of CODE. I have been coding for almost 6 years now and I haven't really designed any UI content and widget design are my first attempt to creating complete UI interfaces that do not pertain to team efforts. I have design applications for the Palm and Pocket PC for Medical Professionals. Currently, I am working on my personal webspace and widgets to enhance my personal knowledge and hopefully understand proper User Interface intergration and Advance application design using MySQL.
With that said Please be in the look out for New Versions of the AlRo-Cookbook later this fall. I am granting access to all so recipes can be added through the widgets for all to see. It's a work in process especially with a website redesign and WEB 2.0. Besides that I do have a full time job as an Education Implementation manager, nothing to do with Technology unless I push it hard and boy am I pushing.
Thank all for your comments on my widgets I do read and try to accomidate all suggestions (mind my spelling I failed English twice). Also have a great week all!
