I corrected my grammar above.

I investigated MSN and only some features will work with linux. They require a software download for chat that isn't compatible with linux. So I'm unable to chat on MSN. Sometimes I will go on IRC (internet relay chat) to download music I like. Even though I don't use irc for chat, many people do. Maybe we could sync up to the same server and do chat on IRC ?

i am downloading IRC now , but i am not sure that i could use it ,because of that i still use XP and i do not know is our goverment's internet limit policy allow me to use it.
damn it! this autocratic government!

For MS-Windows, poeple use the program Mirc, I think it's a free program. If you never used it before, it will probably take you a while to learn it's features.

Also, can you use opera private message, concerning IRC, instead of posting under the blog topic? it will be much more convenient for me. Thanks so much.

oh~ i have downloaded now.but i found it was not so lucky that it is evaluated for 30 days,and i do not know how to registrated, you know, the website tell me that i can not employ it in mainland of china.
therefore, could you fix up the xp again? as far as i know that we could fix up two computer systems in the same computer.

Thats ok, I was working on a project at work and couldn't easily stay on the Opera blog page. The private message has auto notify turned on. On the About Page, you could just click on send private message.

Anyway, I'm sorry, I had band practice today and was very busy.

Maybe you can use ICQ ?

关于声调，你可以听VOA的中国节目，或登录“词霸在线”，那里有所有汉字的发音。

声调is something difficult even for a Chinese person. As a Chinese learner, you don't have to emphasize it, the important thing is to learn how to use vocabulary properly. The only way to learn声调is to listen and speak to Chinese people, which is something difficult for you now... So learn words first, set up a steady base!
