Strange bookmarks..

ho ho ho, I've neglected my blog...
Don't know why.. not enough time, nothing much going on at the moment,
I'm not good at expressing myself and can't write about myself

I'm at work right now, I clean up bookshelves and books
uh.. I do it when I don't have anything urgent to do
it's little boring but quite relaxing

and you know, I'm surprise what people keep n left in books

so called bookmarks..
I found postcards, letter, peace of papers, tissue, some bills, loan agreement,
fridge magnet, membership card from book club.
Can't wait to find some money

my question is- what weird things did you used as a bookmark?
maybe bacon

I once found some Confedrate Money in an old book. It was a ten dollar note. On the back was the word "DIX", which is French for No. 10. It was issued by the state bank of Louisiana in 1862. I lost it tho.

I lost a lot of things that day. Hurricane Alicia put my possessions under 3 meters of water. All of my family momentos were lost.

I guess you're right Alma. I didn't get hurt, and matierial stuff can be replaced. The momentos were nice to have, but I am certainly not the first person to ever lose it all in a bad storm.

hi again

this time i've been on a summer holiday. one week in tatra mountains and another week at masurian lakes. it was very active holiday hehe. but i prefer activity than lying on back n do nothing

I skipped out of work this week on doctors orders. I don't mind. Tuesday I was on pain meds and lost the whole day. I really don't like that, but I just couldn't take it that day.
