Missed parade & crappy burritos

I came back late and pretty tired after party night

I slept till noon

and when Bartek and I finally went to see the 11th nov. parade
it turned out it's over. We missed everything..
Zamkowy Square and Krakowskie Przedmiescie Street were so crowded
so we decided to go somewhere else. We went strolling the streets and parks

I love to take a walk but it's getting cold lately..
Oh, i miss the sun

ps.-to ppl in Warsaw-if you wanna eat some mexican food DO NOT go to Taco Paco

it's waste of time, money and palate

tortillas and burritos taste..NO it doesn't taste at all! i'm so disappointed.

Exhibitions and Concerts

The past two weeks have been busy for me. But these weeks have been really good too

In my spare time I have been going to an exhibitions and events.
e.g. I went to:
- Warszawskie Święto Chleba - Bread holiday

It was quite interesting..
Bakers offered and sell many regional breads and cakes, yummy

- Słowiańskie Braterstwo (Slavic Brotherhood)-a open-air event.

There was a slavic village, stagings folk customs and traditions and few more. But I was disappointed,
I though it will be big event but there was only few tents. It looked "poor"..

- T.Love concert last night

It was fun! The Academy of Fine Arts was celebrated 60 yrs Faculty of Painting.

And this coming weekend and week I'll be attending The Warsaw Film Festival

Car On Fire

I was a witness of accident today..a car fire..
Well, not exactly a wintess coz I only saw clouds of black smoke and little fire.
And I saw it by window.
I wanted take a pic but the trees near block shut out the view.
Yea, yea I know I'm a horrible person but my sis is worse

She grabbed the camera and run on street, meanwhile fire brigade arrived to put out the fire.
She was too late.. but.. she filmed a bit.

oh what a vid it is. Real masterpiece

At The Zoo

I went to the zoo today with my friend B

The Zoo in Warsaw was founded in 1928 so it's 80 years old.
I tried to remember when I was at the zoo last time but I coudn't..
It was sooo long ago..
Anyway we went there to hang out, to take photos and see the animals of course.

Bartek was delighted The Insectarium

i liked giraffes, kangaroos..- a normal animals

I think we saw almost all exhibits, unfortunately some animals
was hiding or not home today (e.g polar bear, hippo)
Well, no wonder, it was so hot today

You know what.. it was strange feeling to watched all this animals walking around their pens
(over and over again..), birds closed in cages..
It's so sad. I know that zoo run school lessons, lectures for students,
promote a good attitude and a certain responsibility to nature,
also take part in some programmes whose aims are to save endangered species but still..
this type of recreation is just not for me..

Ladybird, Bears and Beer

I woke up early this morning coz I was afraid to oversleep and miss my lectures
but I got up too early so I had plenty of time before leaving at univ.
I started tidying up and i found this:

nail sticker, kinda cute, hehe
If you're observant you can see that something is wrong with my ladybird

On the way at univ I bought new one phone pendant

gosh, i'm such a child

After lectures I went with friends at Plac Zamkowy (Warsaw's Castle Square)
to see Buddy Bears Exhibition, hihi
they look great and they're so colorful
