YO!!! I remember telling that my biggest customer was my big sis. Well this is another item I made for her. Personally I think it's a brilliant piece of work. What does she think??? I'd rather not say. Bottom line is she wants me to change some aspects of this piece of art and I find that very hard to do. Like any great artist (yeah...I said it) Like any great artist, I hate to see the fruit of my labor. My brain-child get destroyed least of all by me. No way... It may not be clear to u but the top part of this lovely multi-colored gypsy gown is covered with a piece of sheer fabric (net if you may). The net has a turquiose blue color, and I think the item speaks for itself. Now my sis' complaint is that the underlying fabric is the same color as the "net". That is not true. There are a gazillion shades of blue and those two colors tho both blue are of different shades. Well she is of the opinion that I should use a darker color as the underlying fabric but I don't think it will fly. Now she has asked me to change the net to a gold colored one!!! Imagine that (Note to self: Calm down dude). Well I have agreed to change the net but what I actually have in mind is to make an entirely new item for her. The only problem I face with accomplishing this is.....finance. Yes, I'm not rich. Not yet at least. But I'll get there, I promise. So, no I won't make a new item
I'll just change the entire top to what she wants and hope she's happy. There's a learning process with everything and what I learnt from this is that not everything we want is everything we need. More importantly what we want don't matter as long as someone is paying to get that thing done. I hate you sis.....for now.
