Windows Vista again.

Since I acquired my iPhone, I have been annoyed by not being able to synchronize my iPhone with my stationary computer, since Windows XP x64 is not supported by iTunes 8. Thus I have installed Windows Vista Business x64 (I love that I get it for free through my school), and I am currently updating it.

I somehow like being back here again, but I still miss XP a bit. But I suppose I'll always do when I upgrade to Vista. Looking forward to Windows 7, though.

Well "synchronize" , that always makes my computer slower :frown:

Regarding my iPhone, "synchronize" could just as well has been "having any contact with it at all". Windows XP x64 found the phone, but could not touch it or do anything to it. Quite annoying since I have most of my music there D:

MS gives Vista Business to my school, too. The program is Microsoft Student Partners, and has all kinds of MSy stuff.

Yeah, same here. Except for Microsoft Office, but I get that on a licence through my job for about €30 (for the premiumest (if that's even a word, if not it should be) version). The thing is called MSDN Academic Alliance, and it's awesome. Free Visual Studio 2008 .NET and Vista Business x64 is just awesome. :D

I saw some vids of Windows 7.
It seems to focus on touch interfaces....
Like most mobiles today....

Which really gets me.

Its OK with mobile phones but desktops....?
Wont it feel strange?
I mean try touching the screen instead of you mouse every time you want to click.... :ko:

I do not think that it'll break through yet. We'll probably use mice for the next decade or so. At least.
