Aion
When I tried to update to the release version of Aion, I got a weird and unexpected error: The game launched in Korean. As I am unable to read it, I had to find a solution for it. Unfortunately, there were no immediate fix for my problem. I have been playing since the first western closed beta event, which was the North American version. By trying to access the European servers with this, it gets confused and goes to the fallback of Korean.
I uninstalled the North American version and I am now installing the European version. Should work as intended then.
EDIT: People say that you can just rename aion folder to aioneu, but it didn't seem to do the trick for me.
EDIT 2: Ayase posted about this
at AionSource.

Aion
As I said yesterday, Liv, NCsoft and Aion's Western Community Manager, was going to post an announcement to the fans at around 1700 PST (=0100 GMT). Here's what's important from that announcement:
<snip>
1) When will Aion be released in North America/Europe?We expect to ship Aion in NCsoft West territories in the
fall of 2009.

You can read the entire letter at
Aion's US website.

Hi Everyone,
We're still on track to having an official announcement on the website by end-of-day tomorrow (Wednesday).
To clear up some confusion...it is currently 12:07pm Tuesday (PST) - Time in Seattle, Washington. I will have an annoucement up on the site sometime tomorrow before 5:00pm (PST).
Thank you for the support and the kind words (whether it be in posts or PMs), however, like many have pointed out - there's no point in thanking me yet. I hope that I am deserving of your thanks after tomorrow
This may prove interesting...

Aion
Ever since I came across the game in the first place, I have been fascinated by it and I am very much looking forward to trying it out when it is released later this year. Furthermore, I've created a group here on My Opera,
AionOnline. I will probably do something more with the group later on, but for now, I have just created it.
Now for some screenshots:

It looks quite-- no, it looks
damn good. More screenshots will probably be posted later on. To read more about Aion, I recommend
Aion's official site and
AionSource.com.

Okay, perhaps I should not scare all that would dare (hirr) to read this blog away. I am a computer science student located in Oslo, with great interest for web programming and designing. I am running several other blogs, but this could probably be somewhat more "casual", and perhaps people would even read it. Perhaps.
I also have an interest in gaming, and then in particular MMO games such as World of Warcraft or Lord of the Rings Online, and I am playing more or less casually in both of those games. I am longing for the upcoming game from NCsoft, Aion, which, from what it looks, will be amazing. Recently their
website was put up, and I am looking more and more forward to playing it.
More about me, I live in a small flat with my beautiful girlfriend (whom I
might get to blog at my.opera.com too), but we're moving 1st and 2nd of July. That's going to be so great, as we are living on the top floor with only one great window in the living room. That's right, no windows in our bedroom, and thus it gets incredibly hot during the summertime. But from July -- NO MORE!
There are not very many more things to tell about me. I am soon turning 22, and life's good. If you follow this blog (at least sporadically), you will probably get to know me better. If I'm the Prime Evil or actually a nice guy, it's up to you to decide.
