John Hyrcanus fought against the Macedonians ,against Macedonisation ( fake hellenisation), but to their two sons give names: Aristobulus and Alexander - the typical names of the Macedonian onomastikon!
It is illogical, they have raised a bloody insurgency against the Macedonians and now they have Macedonian names ....coins...and Macedonian Sun...and....
