So, what to blog about? Life, love, the madness of living in modern day Britain?
Well, life is normal for me, I suppose. Single mum, working part time and wondering where the money went. A child who simply won't do as she's told, won't go to sleep nicely. Won't eat her dinner without major tantrums of apocalyptic proportions.
No love life. No partner, no prospects of one. I'm not bothered right now, I have a nice routine that another person would bugger up royally. Why would I want to give up control of the tv remote up to someone who obviously has no taste in televisual programming. Football? No! Midsummer Murders? YES!
Madness of Living in Modern Britain. Well, the government is in meltdown, as are the banks. Unemployment is up, house prices are down. Kids kill kids over stupid little spats. Mother's kill children through neglect or abuse and the services meant to stop this ignore the signs and sit back. Would I move away, emigrate? No. I'm British, and I can't imagine not being here. There are obvious changes needed, but it's no worse that what's happening anywhere else.
