A 1h doodle I did 100% in Corel Painter 11. Too bad I did it directly on canvas and not on a separate layer, and this made it impossible to me to add a background to it (I mean, I could select it and mask it etc, but this was intended to be a fast doodle and not a finished painting). I hope you like it!

A pencil sketch that I scanned and then quickly worked on with Photoshop and a bit of Painter. The torso of the creature is supposed to be the size of a cow; its name derives from the sound it produces when it is hunting, and from the fact that it hunts in the night. Our soldiers on Planet B are quite scared by this relatively slow but deadly creature, and with a good reason.
As usual, I resized the image to make it fit my blog layout better, but you can see a much higher resolution version visiting my

An huge starship landed on a desertic planet, to get some repairing done.
Corel Painter 11 + a bit of Photoshop in final stages + Wacom. I could work more on it but it started as a very fast painting and I didn't want to get lost too much in detailing

Another speed painting I did whil trying to learn Corel Painter. I must say that I am very bothered by all the bugs that Corel Painter 11 is producing when I work with it.. I keep saving my works in psd and going to Photoshop to work on em when I need to do some precise selction work, cos Painter's selections are producing all kind of nasty bugs. I should document them with some screenshots or videos, really. I do hope they will release a patch soon : I did pay for that software and I want it to work fine!

Some fast thumbnails I painted using Zbrush, Corel Painter and a bit of Photoshop to refine, resize etc. I wanted to make it clear they were all belonging to the same "world", and thus sharing technology, shapes and overall look.
