If you ain't got nothing to say, don't say it.
That's something I've learned from a teacher (he's in fact a professor) in maths... Sometime we'd just said things that were so totally wrong, so he had to put us in place... After that comment we knew that our answers must have been going through some kind of mindly operation. And it did follow me in my profession as a teacher... "If you ain't got nothing to say, don't say it..." But I'm not using it on my students. I do want to have them to speak. Even though it's just a slice of truth, it's something. And with some guidience from my side they'll catch the real truth. I guess... and hope.
You can evolve these thought by writing "If you ain't got nothing to say, you can't say it". That's much more true. If I don't have anything I can tell you something about, then I'll rather be quiet. Talking without sence an purpous isn't worth it. So... I'll write some more when I've catched something to tell you about. Perhaps.
