Finding a new blog post in ENGLISH. hahahhahahahhah you might have a better chance winning the lottery than finding a new post in English. HAHAHA

You know, I was reading around in some of my FRIENDS blogs, and I have noticed that they have commented on Opera being slow and inactive lately. That is very true, for my friends, I have TRIED to get other people interested in blogging in Opera, and they loose interest for the simple fact that Opera kept having 'tech' issues, "Monkey" problems and so on. I have also noticed that a lot of little groups on here are so 'clickish' meaning....there is a 'GROUP' of friends and they all get together and

and comment on each other's blog, but IGNORE the rest of the community. All the TALENTED artist and writers get ignored. I am NOT talented, I don't even care what people think to be honest, but God forbid, another person gets in on their little friggin' group and they totally friggin' diss that new person and act all high and friggin' mighty with them. I really didn't want to go there, but I did. So to all you clicks, just keep on clicking in your sad little click groups and you KNOW who you are.

I am going to be honest, everytime I join one of those groups, I end up quitting them because the idea of being in the 'now' crowd just makes me sick!!!

Hi Sarah,
I think the 'grouping' of blog buddies is more a function of time available to surf all the blogs, and language barriers that make people naturally congregate where they feel comfortable. People that have more than one blog truly amaze me. It's a big time commitment and the only return is a few ego strokes from friends.

You missed the point of me saying that they are rude to people that try to join them. I am starting to hate blogging to be honest with you.

A real writer will not be looking for ego strokes.

hormones might have played a small but important roll in my feelings, but by and by I do think it was something that I have wanted to say for some time being now. Um, thanks for the compliment.

Yes, please do adopt a pet, there are many without homes looking for a great companion, ALSO, others can play with it as well and that brings great joy and happiness to your page.

hahah After bitching, I had to go and play with and feed my dog and monkey out there in the 'about' page. They made me feel calm.

As must be obvious, I've lost a lot of interest in blogging on Opera. It just isn't what it used to be, or maybe it's me. So true about the lack of new blogs in english and the error monkeys all the time. Oh well, ces't la vie. I really haven't noticed the group clicks, but I'm sure you're right there as well. S.

Hey S,

I am assured that where ever there is a rant or talk about sex you will be close behind and I love that about you. Really, that is pretty cool. Too bad they don't have an 'English' Opera and a 'spanish' Opera and 'Chinese' Opera, that would be nice. I am loving blogging other where because it feels like all the pressure of being nice is off of me.

And so that makes me a nicer person.

I've wanted to invite others to blog here also, but the server

problems are some of the reasons that have kept me from promoting this site. And the blogs in other languages is a turn off too. There are some people here that act all high & mighty towards other bloggers. So what if they're in the "now" group, big freaking deal! Who cares?! Stop acting like an jacka$$ towards others and just be nice to people for a change! People like that, I've never had much use for, and still don't. Why be like that to others? I know, you are right with many of your words in this post. Sometimes I would love to

monkeys.

But also I know, we (the members of this OC) and the Opera Developers have the power, to find solutions for some problems. Don't give up! Maybe take a short bloggong break, if you are tired for "fight". But don't give up!
Your friends (I am a friend of you too!) would be very sad.

Hi there Sarah...I too would be sad if you stopped blogging.
If there are "clickish" groups out there...those are the groups to stay away from.
Anyhow...sometimes blogging breaks are needed...this I do know. And somehow, inspiration always seems to pop back up. I blog for me...and the bonus is, other people read it!
