I bet if the cat was hungry, it may eat it. However, if the cat thinks the rat is his friend, it may warp the cat's personality for life and even give way to changing his DNA. HA! smile

I have a cat that was raised by a feral mother and even though she has been and inside cat shince she was six weeks old, Chloe acts very differently from an inside cat. She is 100% predator and everything she does is different from Evelyn, the cat who was born to a mother that lived in an apartment all her life.

I could do an anthropological study on the different behaviors, if I were an anthropologist.
