(Long ago I was a spider-man fan.
As far as I remember it could multiply "itself", and was only weak to special ultra-high frequency sounds...: D

Going to see Ghost Rider with AggressorBrad this Sunday! Also looking to see Rocky Balboa sometimes.
Until I can see Spider-Man 3, I'll just have to tough it out with those movies atthe cinema and rewatching the odd super-hero movie I've got on DVD (Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Hulk, X-Men I, II & III, Sin City (okay - anti-hero ... and speaking of 'anti-heroes'), Punisher ...
It's a great time for super-hero fans at the movies!

spiderman....
him and the whole story that I love.
Ramute, I do hope that one day you will be
able to watch it. The story is much more
than just about the spiderman...
is a fantastic love story under it.
Stormy, I am not sure, I don't think that Spiderman
can multiply his self, but I am not sure....lol.
He is just a normal guy that became 'Spiderman'
while at a museum he got bit by a spider...I guess
it was a special spider...obviously. haha
Clean, Have fun seeing Ghost Rider...I remember
that show growing up...but mostly men want to go
and see it.
and watch them often.
Cheryl, Please see Spiderman 2 before you see 3. They are
all so good!

(Of course the two other was not a "Peter Parker" clone, because they infected others. If I remember correctly, one of them was one of Parker's friend, but I can't remeber who was the second...
(Hehe, I told you that I was a fan...

That's like The Crow with Brandon Lee. Some people categorized it as a horror film, some as action. But it's considered by others as a romance (with action in it, of course).
Stomyr, I thought it was instinctively agreed amongst comic book fans that there would never be any mention of 'The Clone Saga' again!
Hmm ... okay, the symbiote originally came from the planet of the Secret Wars. It came from a machine and Spidey thought it was a costume-making machine. Ultimately, he found out it was alive. With the help of the Fantastic Four, he divested himself of it (ultrasonics), whereupon it was stored in Reed Richards' lab for future study. In an issue of Fantastic Four, a strange flying doohickey drilled a hole in the symbiote's prison, whereupon it escaped. It found someone who hated Peter as much as it did (because Peter had rejected it) - Eddie Brock. Brock became Venom.
Apparently, the symbiote then left a piece of itself somewhere (which is how it reproduces), which joined with a serial killer to become Carnage. And, of course, the two symbiote-wearers don't like each other, so it's Venom vs Carnage with spider-Man caught in the middle.
Thus ended the couple of paragraphs review of decades of Marvel Comics.
Oh, and I read the old 'Jackal' story way back when (the starting point for the clone saga, apparently, when Peter changed to 'Peter' (Ben)).
Clear as mud?
And people get paid for this ... ?!?
In the newer version of the comic (the 'Ultimates' line), the symbiote was something manufactured in a lab with a sample of Peter's blood, by Doc Conners (aka The Lizard). Uh ... don't know if that was 'Ultimate Carnage' or 'Ultimate Venom'. Can't keep up - comics cost $ 7 apiece over here (!), so I'm not buying hundreds a month like I used to way back when ... !
