Dear Daddy,

Dear Daddy

You knew I must
write to you. My
daddy, my first to care for
the air that I would
breathe........
How do I live without
your voice? Speaking
encouraging words
in my ear.........
You could always make
me feel well again.
Daddy so strong
Daddy so great
Your whole life
was but fate...

Awwww what a wonderful daddy you had. I lost my father just weeks before Blake was born. They are supposed to with us forever! sad

Sarah Dreamsangel292005 Monday, February 19, 2007 9:55:37 PM

Hi Veronica,
It is so nice to see you here. smile I have missed you!

I am sorry that you lost your dad like that...My father died
just a few months before my twins were born. I will never
forget calling him and telling him that I was having twins,
he was so excited. smile

That's a beautiful and moving poem - and a radiant photograph. Far too young to go, but fate is callous and fickle. It's clear you have wonderful memories of him. smile

Hi there Richard. smile Thank you for stopping by..yes fate, a cruel
beast at times.

Cheryl, I am sorry that you also lost your dad
at his early age. It is much a shame that some
men have to die early! Sometimes it feels that
life is not fair.

Dave, Thanks. smile Yes, I love/loved him very very
much. I never knew that he kept all of the little
'love letters' that I would give to him. 'Daddy,
I love you very much' along with a picture that
I would draw. So cute that he kept them, and now
I have them back.....

Thanks all for stopping by. heart

Very heartwarming poem.

I lost my dad 20 years ago. Few days earlier we
had a gathering in honour of Dad's death's 20th aniversary.

Love,
Ramute.

Hi Ramute,
That is wonderful that you are having gatherings to remember your
father. smile We don't do that, but we should.

love,
Sarah

Ramuteramute Wednesday, February 21, 2007 10:46:18 AM

Such gathering is very emocionally rewarding. Just the family and friends...something to eat and candles burning. An every who wants to say something about Dad, says that. I told my dream where he was a priest in Heven.

Love,
Ramute.
