Tolit Paper and Robotics
Friday, March 9, 2007 4:48:26 AM
Well, it is late here (well late for me) anywho! It is 10:30 in the evening and I am looking back on the day....
Tonight I actually went to a Jr. High with my oldest daughter to 'get her schedule'
That is so sad that she will be in Jr. High next year. I don't think that I am ready for this! Where is the time machine when I need it????
Where is my anti-aging cream as well?
After getting her schedule for next year, which by the way consist of
advanced Math and Science classes...
, volleyball, History, English,
Spanish as a second language, and Robotics and other things as electives.
There were 6 elective choices so I can't remember them all, but 'Medical Science'
was one of them. I think when I was in school 'Robotics' and 'Medical Science'
were not even in my VOCABULARY, much less an elective in school for crying
out loud! I am thinking, they are really getting these kids ready for college
here, which is a wonderful thing, don't get me wrong....it's great! And she
was actually excited about it all.
My oldest has always excelled in Math and Science so I know she will do great. Also,
the school offers laptops for an insurance fee of $50.00. Not so bad for a full
year.
After we left the school we went to good ole Wal-Mart and picked up toilet paper
and other various things for the house. You know that I got the huge 24 pack of
tolit paper....there is never enough in this house of 5 girls and one Marine.

I bet my poor husband never thought that he would live with 5 girls.
!!!!
After leaving Wal-Mart, I had to get gas, paying $2.55 or so a gallon, well, I got
half a tank....so I guess no out of town trips for us as long as gas is so high.
Next week is Spring Break for the kids, so I am sure that the high gas prices are
going to hurt being that the kids want to go here and there and everywhere and money
for the mall and movies and skating.
Wish me luck guys!
I could go on and on but I will end this for now......

But, what do you think, why I love my sun glasses?

Petrol is SO expensive! I take the bus, but that's also quite expensive...if you're an adult, whcih I'm not (well, I am but I'm classified as a tertiary student) so it's not THAT expensive. Well, to save money, you've got my tip about making really cheap sandwiches

them everytime it is sunny out.
eyes from sun damage.)
Galadriel, Yes, it starts in Sept. But I guess they want to
go ahead and get everything done so that there will not be
a last minute rush when school starts. Do you have year 'round
school? They tried that here, but so many parents didn't like
it because missing summer break, so officials stopped it.

During the earlier parts of the week, petrol is relatively cheap, but - come Wednesday or Thursday - it tends to go up by around twenty cents per litre, to take advantage of the fact that many people are paid around this part of the week and are likely to be filling up to go away for the weekend.
Of course, the companies say that's not the case, and that it's all down to fluctuating barrel prices and suchlike ... but ... there's occasional doubts out there! Which I can't understand, because - after all - why wouldn't you trust the petrol companies?
