Esther, I love dogs too. I love cats but dogs and their personalities are amazing. We were supposed to get a chocolate poodle, but I opt for the beautiful golden muts. They are just too cute.

Elke, my husband repaired the fence in our backyard where the kids tore it up, lol. So today (saturday) we will get our puppies. THey are OH so adorable. It gives me butterflies in my stomach to look at their faces. I just WUV them.
Aida, It has been a trend here on Opera to help name the pets that we get, but I think I will leave the names up to the kids. If it was up to me, I would put a poll up.
Hey there Cheryl, I am not sure what kind of dogs they are. I need to ask the owner, but the kids said that the male dog is part pit bull. I think that is where they get their big jaws from. When I go down there later, I will take a pic of the mom and dad. I think they are muts.
I want all 4. but that is not going to happen. heheh.
My kids are not up yet, spring break has been fun....they have stayed up late and slept late, and with the time change,(that was done last saturday night) I am glad that they were able to do that. The hard part is going to be getting them to bed early tonight and tomorrow and sunday.
