Wounded-Poetry

, , , , ,

Wounded Enchanting talk, glamorous smile apparently she has seen it coming for a while but ignoring it was easier than dealing with pain that involved a moment thrashed and skin split.
Feeling v u l n e r able, coiled tightly
around the only spirit that she felt
could save her own she drifted
off thinking the demon was gone
for a time but only
strengthened
greatly.

He denies the feelings that overtake
his mind in a furry a fire that is full
of devious lies and lust and hurt and
betrayal wounding so deep; not recognized
she begged him to please try to
progress away from
home.

Understanding the mind of men
will never be achieved in this
lifetime I know; something impossible
all rules broken, all manner disregarded
in a flash all is lost, all love is raped
from a memory that begun
as somewhat
so sweet .

smile Nice poem, Sarah.

Nice isn't quite the word I'd use.

I love the realist stuff like that. It's so much more fulfilling than the flowers and fluffy bunny crap we got forced down our throats at school. up
