It felt like ages....

No one likes to be sick, especially when you are sick to the point that it is causing you to hack up different colors and makes you speculate (really) “Did that really just come out of my nasal passage?”
Being sick caused me to sleep for 12 hours the past 2 nights. Certainly you can’t argue that is a bad thing! Every muscle in my body feels refreshed and strong. I woke up at 5:30 this
morning and started the cleaning process on the house and laundry. Me being down for 2 days will wreck havoc on my house, as you all know the damage that 4 girls can do. But that is perfectly fine with me, I needed something to do.
I am quite certain that my husband caught whatever I had, because he woke up this morning sniffing and hacking as well.
Poor guy, good thing he is going to have a couple of days off coming up. I being well will assure that he is taken care of. Hey, come to think of it, no one made me chicken noodle soup!
Can a girl get a little attention?
This would have been perfect.
If anyone gets sick with a sinus infection like I did I suggest; lots of sleep, lots of liquid, including vitamin C or some sort, and a good sinus medication. To be honest, I am not sure what sort of sickness I had, because my lungs were also a mess.

When you are sick, what is your best remedy? Let me know, so the husband may benefit from your advice.
Off to do more laundry now.
Sarah
P.S. For those into knitting, I suggest Television Program "Knitty Gritty" It is young, hip and makes knitting something that is very cool, and not something that great grandma does.
Just check it out, it might even interest men in knitting!

In my experience most men turn into babies when they have a cold. I can't stand being sick so I usually lie around feeling sorry for myself for a day and then I get moving.
Sounds like you are getting better!

Who took care of you while you were sick?
Did anything get done?
Hope you weren't neglected.

Dave, poor hubby what? LOL I sort of took care of myself by sleeping or resting and let my husband deal with the kids. He did the dishes once but he didn't do any laundry. After the girls had a 'slumber party' in the living room he cleaned up the next day.
Hi Elke, Thanks so much
Sarah
