She gazed into the reflection pool
seeing what she wanted to see
a princess, a beauty staring back.
But truth only be told today
the reflection that she sees
Is not the one that shows
to others.
Talking lovingly to herself
stroking the glassy surface of
the water with a red flower
tucked behind her ear
She whispers sweet nothings…
to herself.
Ugliness did not exist in her
mind previously struggling with
a pain of seeing what they saw
Only to have her eyes opened
on that day…that she discovered
the reflection pool.
The truth of the reflection pool is
it shows the manifestation of the
spirit and the true beauty
that lies inside the mind of all.
She is not the once 'ugly' person
they accused her of being.
Look into the mind
look into the character
there the true person
is existing.
