The building in the last photo kinda looks like the building in the movie "Ghostbusters"! But the building next to that one looks more European to me.

I saw some interesting topiary at Disneyland in the mid-'80's, but nothing on this scale.

Nope, the kids aren't in school yet...thank goodness! I hate it when they have to go back to school. I always cry on the first day when the house is all empty and quiet. Most parents are like, "Yessss! Finally some peace & quiet!" Not me, though. I'm like, "My babies left me again!"

To be honest, I don't even know when the first day of school is. Since we're new to the area, we aren't hip to all of the dates of events and whatnot. I've tried calling the school, but they won't answer their damned phone! I just might have to end up being social and ask a neighbor or something.

I've been busy driving my Mom to job interviews and whatnot lately. That's why I've not been spamming Opera as much...just in case you wondered.
