I miss the process- "doing something wrong, get punished for it, then completely forget about it and move on to the next silly thing..." As suppose to- "making a mistake and having to take responsibility, being unable to forget and move on. . . Ya, but that's just me. p.

smile thanks all for your great answers...I also miss looking up to my mother and seeing caring eyes look back at me and telling me everything is ok. She still does that, and she is taller than me still...lol...so it is still wonderful to be close to her and have her hug me, I feel so giddy about being a momma's girl... but it is that everyday reinforcement that I miss.

I miss living close to a lot of my family. I was brought up with my aunt & uncle next door, great aunt & uncle on the other side, great grandparents, grandmother, 2 other aunts and another great aunt all within walking distance.
One thing I don't miss... having long hair before conditioner was invented!

Sarah Dreamsangel292005 Monday, September 3, 2007 11:31:36 PM

Lois, it sounds like your family was incredibly close! If people are used to that then it is a wonderful thing and many benefits can be reaped. Long hair before conditioner? Well, I can't relate to no conditioner but I can relate to my mother brushing and pulling till I cried. Finally she gave up and just cut it off! I loved it short!

I would have to say...I miss the non-responsibility of being a kid.
It's a great time! heart

Cois, yes, that sounds like a kid room for sure! p

KarenNerak Tuesday, September 4, 2007 3:42:04 PM

I just dropped Sunny off at her new school for the first day. It reminded me of something I don't miss: Being the new kid. down I was always the new kid because we moved around so much. I totally hated that feeling...and now my poor little girl is having to deal with the feeling for the first time in her life. sad *is filled with guilt*

Sarah Dreamsangel292005 Tuesday, September 4, 2007 3:48:52 PM

Oh, sad Don't be sad Karen. I bet if she has a wonderful personality likes yours she will do so good! smile But I know that is hard, we also moved around a lot. It taught me so much growing up, learning how to cope and so on. I guess....let's just say, I love to be settled now. heart

KarenNerak Tuesday, September 4, 2007 3:52:27 PM

I really believe deeply that not is forever , just till a little bit later.

After years of studying everthing I could put my hands on since I never get tired of studying I came to the collusion that Philosophers, authors & science is so extremely limited that they cannot see things that are so very obvious & make sense.

I was very fortunate to take the path that got away from working with them & for them.

The day I nicely said bye-bye to the Government as well as the bastion's of learning.

I am not sorry for all the study & things I studied since I just use them on a differant path.

I never found a better study book with being in-tune with all of us than the "Bible".Thank you for noticeing my comment on, parents, It did feel good.chopin36

Sarah Dreamsangel292005 Thursday, September 6, 2007 10:07:01 AM

Yes, I agree that the bible is the ultimate study tool. I have always believed that there is a God. I don't necessarily believe the things that religion teaches...but I do believe there is a God. I also think that yes, we will see our loved ones again. The older I get the more I think that we each have our own personal 'resurrection' when our physical bodies die. smile

You are lucky to break free from what was being taught to you, congrats on that. Seriously.

Sarah
