The past weekend was so pleasant. Hanging out with family and having a BBQ was just what we needed…a get together is the best cure for feeling out of touch! After getting through the first week of school we were all exhausted. Fitting a new schedule into a family of 6 after such a lazy summer is hard (but not impossible) to do. I don’t want to give too much detail, but one of the kids is in athletics and has to practice at the crack of dawn! It is still dark out, what are the coaches thinking? But besides that everything is coming together….

Well I am actually still knitting and finished a project sometime back, but didn’t get around to posting it…so here it is…a hat and scarf made for one of the twins. I am working on the others and hopefully will be finished by mid October.
I started this too late..the kids are home now, gotta go!
