Yesterday was beautiful, but still a bit warm for this time of the year. We packed up the kids and headed towards the park with the wonderful and scenic walking trails. (yes they are 'scenic') lol Anyway, we walked .45 miles towards the falls and then .45 miles back....not too far, but doesn't account for the other mile it took to actually get to the mile marker.

The leaves are just beginning to fall here, so there was a beautiful mixture of browns, greens and yellows surrounding us from every side. We stopped often to examine the different treasures that were along the trail, making up stories all the way. As we approached the crossing of the river, we noticed the water quite murky looking, but feeling the cool fall breeze over our shoulders instantly lifted our eyes. Ok...here on the bridge, he was totally rocking the combat boots and shorts..

I have no clue what these bright green things were....

A little grass snake that was about 2 feet long...I wanted to pick it up but 'someone wouldn't let me'.

I feel so left out! For some lame-ass reason, the only pictures I can see are the top & bottom ones. I mean, I like seeing your pretty face and all, but I want to see the other pictures, too!

Those green things... They could be pods from outer space. You didn't breathe in the spores, did you? Ha ha.

Good to see you are getting out and enjoying something beautiful there - looks like you all had a really great time.

I went to the Tulip Farm yesterday - yep, it's that time of the year again and I am hoping to post some pictures today... I hope...

They were huge, about the size of a small pumpkin. It looked like some sort of unripe large fruit...It was filled with seeds, I am sure it isn't that big of a mystery, but really fun to find and explore with the kids.

Looks like you had a lovely time.
We just had our Thanksgiving celebration...it's kinda rainy here..I would love to snap some shots of the colours. The trees are at their peak.

Moi? Give up on Blogging? ... Naaaaaah... It's the only place I can have a good old rant, or just say things that spring to mind.

What I really should have done was blog during the early phases of taking this medication I am on... It was ... weird... Could have made for some hilarious blog posts...
