Studies show that kids score about the same in the private and public
schools...the test were done on high school seniors....

Are the private schools worth the money then?Story here.

You get more for the money. Most private schools teach at a higher level meaning the courses are closer to college level then regular schools.

Actually...everyone is paying tuition. Most parents must have two incomes to maintain a lifestyle that comes with a home in a particular school district that excels in teaching and learning. They could live in a less expensive home in another public school district...but rather be in the suburbs...with high property taxes and high appraisal values...this is the invisible tuition of public schools.

I went both private and public schools. I can say without a doubt...had it not been for the private school learning...I would not have been ready for high school.

To me *it appears* that private school could give the
one on one that the kids really need. Who knows, possibly
the teachers are getting paid more, so they care more?
I don't know....
