Q: How many women with MENOPAUSE (or PMS) does it take to change a light bulb?

Woman's Answer: One! ONLY ONE!!!! And do you know WHY? Because no one else in this house knows HOW to change a light bulb! They don't even know that the bulb is BURNED OUT!! They would sit in the dark for THREE DAYS before they figured it out. And, once they figured it out, they wouldn't be able to find the # &%! * light bulbs despite the fact that they've been in the SAME CABINET for the past 17 YEARS! But if they did, by some miracle of God, actually find them, 2 DAYS LATER, the chair they dragged to stand on to change the STUPID light bulb would STILL BE IN THE SAME SPOT!!!!! AND UNDERNEATH IT WOULD BE THE WRAPPER THE FREAKING LIGHT BULBS CAME IN!!! BECAUSE NO ONE EVER CARRIES OUT THE GARBAGE!!!! IT'S A WONDER WE HAVEN'T ALL SUFFOCATED FROM THE PILES OF GARBAGE THAT ARE A FOOT DEEP

THROUGHOUT

THE ENTIRE HOUSE!! IT WOULD TAKE AN ARMY TO CLEAN THIS PLACE! AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON WHO CHANGES THE TOILET PAPER ROLL !!

It's not funny!!! I remember those horrible years and the ranting is all too familiar. I couldn't believe such a cranky person was living in my body. But sure better to laugh about it and since it is all behind me I can laugh now, Couldn't then.

Sandy, for some odd reason I am not craving chocolate, just green tea, and coffee and water... I just want to almost eat the coffee beans they smell so good to me!

The reasons behind the ranting never stop, Sarah.

I live by myself, after two divorces, and my son now grown up with a family of his own--and even in another town!

But every now and then, somebody SOMEWHERE will do something that just makes no sense whatsoever, and makes me crazy.

So I rant.

Then I laugh. Hard.

And thank God that I still care enough to do both of them.

I love talking to you ladies, because you have wisdom to share, and I need it.
I am glad to know that you can laugh about ranting, sometimes I do and sometimes I don't...I suppose it depends on my overall attitude at the time.

In the long run, that is what we have to do, laugh. Getting and staying angry, I know, is not going to solve anything! haha! (except keep my blood pressure up!)

I like to rant sometimes...makes me feel human.

Can't imagine holding it all in....

Sorry you didn't sleep.

When my back was out last year, I knew the feeling too well, waking up in pain. I went through that for 6 months....started yoga and BOOM it was gone. *weird (but I know that yoga is not going to fix your ouchy)

I am not sure what the avatar is, I took it from my daughter picture folder on the lap top, I thought it was so cute.

It's awesome that Yoga helped you! You're right...it won't fix my problem. Maybe it'll help, though. I should try it. It's worth a shot.

You know - I never rant, never break things when I'm alone. Even with chickens and cats and the dog, they don't ever push me to that point.
Case in point - Arthur borrowed my truck - when I borrow things, I try to return them in as good, or better condition. When my truck came back it was diry, old food wrappers inside, there were dings in it and he left it in the driveway with the door wide open.
And this wasn't even one of the times I got mad!

Oh yeah.....same here, never when I am alone. Unless my hubby pisses me off and then just leaves, I may scream a bit then.
