My mom taught thousands of children English and Music over 30 years of teaching, and her gift from God was surviving breast cancer. She is enjoying her retirement in a natural wooded wonderland that she used to dream of, well, except for the turkey that keeps coming out of the woods to eat from the birdfeeders....

Congrats to your mother, she sounds like a strong and amazing women. Such women should be noticed....

Dear Sarah, Thank you for this post. It means more to me than you know. My childhood friend died of breast cancer. I bought a handmade bracelet in her memory. It is made of beads that represent different cancers. God Bless you.
