This is for my dear daughter's Birthday!

I remember the day she was born. During the 70's in Dallas, Tx around 5ish in the evening. Her father was working, over working, and it was one of my last appointments with my pregnancy. I had two small boys at home and was looking forward to my girl. At that time ultra-sounds were only for problem pregnancies so I didn't know and she was a wonderful surprise. Her dad always knew she would be a girl and was very excited too.
When I went to my appointment, I remember being so afraid of driving myself from south Dallas to Baylor hospital. On the freeway I was asking God to watch over me and my baby. I started feeling peace right away and knew there were angels watching over us.
At the appointment, I told the doctor that I was ready to have her that day and he said alright and proceded to break my water and I immediately started the process. Very quickly I was in the delivery room and set up to have her. The embarressing part of it all was that a whole bunch of doctor interns were there to "observe" the delivery. I covered my head and waited, pushed, and quickly gave birth to a dark headed Georgeous girl baby! The doctors standing around sighed and all smiled at me like I had done something wonderful...and I had!
I didn't know what her name would be until I saw her...Sarah, the Princess. Oh, Mothers know what I mean...tears of joy, even now. A mothers heart will always remember.
I brought her home to her dad and brothers the next day and put her in a beautiful cradle. Her youngest brother, Matt...only 13 months old, wanted a peak at her and pulled the cradle down to see her. She rolled out and fell on the soft pillow I had by the cradle! I had a feeling...know wht I mean mom's?
The rest of her life has been joy, fear, lots of prayer and a sweet dear girl and now friend with a heart of gold.
That's her birth story and hope she doesn't mind me telling it.
I love you Sarah and adore your beautiful daughters and husband. You are such a blessing to all around and near you.

Thats a very beautifull story from your mom . No doubt it leaves a warm fuzzy feeling with anyone who reads it . You are all very lucky to have each other. Your mom, yourself, and your girls. Plus your husband. It's obvious there's alot of love between you all. Cherish it, and never stop showing it. .

I feel horribly that I couldn't get on here until now (23:00) on your birthday! I thought about you all day long and hoped that you were having a good day. Not being able to say Happy Birthday to my one of my best friends in the whole wide world really bugged me all day long. I tried and tried to break free from stuff and sneak on to my computer just so I could say those two little words to you, but things just didn't turn out that way.

I'm so happy to see that everyone else was able to recognize you on your special day! I hope the girls had a marvelous day, too! Did you have one big, giant cake, two cakes, or three little cakes? Or did you just say, "Screw cake" and have bananas?!

Anyway, I want you to know that I love you. I hope your day was perfect, and I will keep on checking in when I get the chance! My best to you, the girls, & C!

Your Mom's story brought tears to my eyes. Not only because I can totally relate on a motherly level, but because I feel honored to know the story of your birth - told by the woman who made it all happen! It's so awesome that she took the time to write that for you. I'm truly happy for you to have such a wonderful and supportive family.
